Congratulations to Parrott on earning PE license

November 30th, 2017 | By Amanda Adams

Congratulations to Thomas Parrot, Project Engineer for Cranston’s Municipal Design Group, for recently passing his PE exam!

Thomas has been part of the Cranston Engineering team for 4 years, and he earned his B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of South Carolina in 2013. His design experience includes work for private practice and state departments of transportation. His engineering experience with the Cranston team has included roadway improvements and widening, public and private storm drainage, construction management and inspection, field assessment management, GIS database design and management, and data analysis.

According to the National Society of Professional Engineers, “To become licensed, engineers must complete a four-year college degree, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from their state’s licensure board. Then, to retain their licenses, PEs must continually maintain and improve their skills throughout their careers.”

The entire Cranston staff congratulates Thomas and looks forward to seeing his continued success.
