Congratulations to Jake Eavenson, Cranston team member at the Bluffton, South Carolina (Hilton Head) office, for recently passing his Structural Engineering exam!
Eavenson is a Project Manager for the Structural Engineering Department, and he joined the firm in 2014 as a project engineer responsible for the design and delivery of structural projects. During his career with Cranston, Eavenson has designed and been involved in the construction administration of numerous building projects with a large focus on the coastal effects of a high wind zone and flood loading. He has experience in nearly every type of building structure including recreation and athletic facilities, municipal buildings and structures, churches, educational facilities, office buildings, hospitals and other medical buildings, historic structures, and marine structures.
Eavenson earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, in 2012. He is also a member of the Structural Engineers Association of South Carolina (SEAofSC), Bluffton/HHI Chamber of Commerce, and he is a 1st Lieutenant in the Engineering Detachment of the South Carolina State Guard.
