March 8th, 2018 | By Amanda Adams

Cranston Engineering Group’s Municipal Design Team has provided civil engineering services for the construction of the new Columbia County Performing Arts Center located in Evans, Georgia. Work on this project included site development for the primary structure and area for future development. The Cranston Engineering team provided design for a roadway extension and service road, parking, landscapes, and site lighting coordination and many other engineering related developments.

Our Structural Design Team provided expertise on the design of loading galleries, orchestra pit, upper, lower, and side balconies, concourses, lobby, restroom and concessions, ticketing areas, and museum, plus much more.

This new 85,800 square foot steel and concrete theater will be built to seat 2,100 patrons with 100 foot tall stage house, and the project included extensive and intricate work and coordination with Columbia County.

The Cranston Engineering team is proud to provide design services for this project. Read The Augusta Chronicle online articles HERE, HERE and HERE.
