Throughout the summer, Cranston Engineering Group’s Augusta office will once again be working with summer interns. Area college students are working hard and gaining real-world work experience and growth in their career fields. The interns are diligently aiding the municipal, traffic engineering, development, and survey departments in a wide range of projects.

Will Hagler joins us from Georgia Tech after completing his first year. He is working with Jim Cranford and the Structural Department. Parker Wiley is studying at the University of Georgia and is helping out in the field with the Survey Department along with Elizabeth Turner. Wiley will be entering his junior year when he returns to UGA in the fall. Turner has recently completed her first year in General Engineering at Clemson, and she will work with John Attaway in the Survey Group.

Also interning at Cranston this summer are Katie Smith and Brandon Goings. Smith is studying Environmental Engineering at the University of Georgia, and she is helping out the Municipal Department this summer. Smith plans to graduate in December 2019.Goings is a returning intern who will work with the Civil groups this summer by assisting the Development, Transportation, and Municipal Design Teams. Goings has completed his sophomore year at The Citadel.

The firm is pleased to have so many capable hands and problem solvers joining our staff this summer.
