The vision for the Euchee Creek Greenway in Columbia County, GA, is a series of off-street bikeways, walkways, and trails that offers safe, family-friendly access to all ages and abilities, providing connections between neighborhoods and other community destinations while maintaining a respect for the past, an awareness of the present, and a vision for the future.
The greenway concept was originally developed in 2002 and reaffirmed in the 2012 Augusta Regional Transportation Study Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. The current phase provides connections between Blanchard Woods Park and Riverwood Plantation, as well as Patriots Park and the existing greenway in Grovetown, GA.
Cranston is providing surveying, permitting, and civil engineering services for the development of this new trail system with Mitchell Murchison as the Project Manager. The project is in the initial construction phase – setting up trail alignment and installing erosion control Best Management Practices (BMP).
